The River Ouse
Did just that. Up and over,
Out of the trenches,
Through and between, I say,
Mud through toes never
Had it just so.
The River Ouse is in West Sussex, UK

Thanks, c!
I certainly picture it well — and the photo is a great pair! Is this photo – the River Ouse?
Hi Becca,
Yes, it is! It’s ready to break its banks, so we hope for no more rain for a while.

Lovely photo — but a precarious situation indeed! I pray the rain stops for you for awhile … Take care!!
Really like the photo and your words bring it all home with fun,
Elizabeth
Thanks, Elizabeth. Please feel free to leave link-backs to yours, if you wish.

Love the photo, but not the possible outcome!. Stay high and dry.
We are. The rivers are sure high though. Even our local creek is ready to break over the road.
Do you two remember how to tread water?
Oh yes, we do it often. Literally, of course.
lovely photo and words xx
Thank you!
