I Am Between Walls

A poem inspired from William Williams’s “Between Walls”

William Williams
is trespassing
in my left
ear, his film noire
voice an itch
in my right –
his speech
as cobbles,
and I am trapped,
and trespassing
between his walls.

Poetic Asides Prompt #194: Trespassing

Author: Misky

‘Misky’ lives in the UK surrounded by flowers, freshly baked bread, and always keeps dog biscuits in her pocket for her blind Springer Spaniel. She never buys clothing without pockets. Her work is widely published.
